THE BIG BOSS - CHRISTIANS IN THE CORPORATE WORKPLACE
Rooty, tooty, fresh and fruity. That would be how I would describe my own experience with the bosses I had in the Corporate World.
On the low end of the scale, if I offered a suggestion or a solution and it worked, then it was all THEIR idea. If it didn't work, then it was all MY fault. When I created a marketing package that the Board loved; my boss ended up being the Creator, and I, the person sitting in the corner with duct tape applied to her lips. And gray isn't even my color....
In the Corporate World, much is demanded; must is expected; little is respected except power. The mere fact that you are working for someone sets you at their mercy. The perfect boss elevates his employees to his level. He wants to look them in the eye, to gather their ideas, to share, to learn and to grow.
If you have a boss like this, you are truly blessed, because yes indeed, I had a few of those myself. They were the good guys AND good ladies!
If you don't, do yourself a favor and start looking for something else today. God has something better in store for His children than being in subjection to Man.
