A motivational Christian spiritual retreat featuring situations that relate to life.
TIME FOR FRIENDS - TAKING TIME FOR GODSome of the dearest relationships that I've had over the years have stemmed from people that I met at church. Christian friends already have something in common - so that's a jumpstart on friendship - right out of the gate! I've also had the experience of having friends who just didn't know when they needed to go home. And when they did, they'd call and spend another hour jacking their jaws over the phone. Being a Christian, it's very difficult to tell them in a tactful way, "Go home. Shut up. Don't call me. Don't you realize that I need a bit of privacy?" If this sounds familiar, don't fret because there's really no need to injure friend's feelings. In a subtle way, you can change a bad situation into good. Some examples include, "I would love to spend more time with you, but I've got to......" Or, "It's been great visiting with you, but I must run now." Or, "Why don't we meet later over lunch?" So be tactful, don't be miserable. If a person is a true friend, they'll understand that your time is important to you, and that if you are inviting them to spend their time with you, that makes the friendship even more special. ~Sky
