TIME FOR MINISTERING - TAKING TIME FOR GOD
Janet has a desire to do something great for God. She never seems to have enough time in the day to get everything accomplished, much less take time out to focus on a project devoted to God.
One day soon, she must take time to visit the retirement center. She always feels so good after her time there - as if she has spread a little joy in the world. But not this week, or this month because she is just too, too busy.
Sometimes, we don't have to have a special time set aside for ministering to others in need. Just take a look at what Janet accomplished today, and she wasn't even aware of how many souls she blessed. But God was!
Janet comforted a co-worker who was having trouble with her teenage son.
Janet helped Mr. Jenkins across the busy intersection at Fifth & Vine. Mr. Jenkins is elderly and must use a cane to assist him.
Janet fed the pigeons at the local park.
Janet helped a child who had fallen off his bike and onto the pavement.
Janet was waiting for her bus and noticed a man standing on the street corner who looked lost and needy. She put a ten dollar bill inside his hand. Little did Janet know, but she had just entertained an angel unaware.
