Saving Money, Coughing
up Big Bucks for Gourmet Coffee
It's nothing for an American to line
up at the morning coffee shop and spend a five dollar bill for a
cardboard cup filled with gourmet coffee and a sweet treat to dunk
into the coffee.
Five dollars a day, five days of
the week, four weeks per month for a total of $100 per month times
12 for a total of $1,200 per year - enough money to buy three months
worth of groceries for a family of four OR to buy gas to go back
and forth to work for a week in a Humvee.
Treat yourself now and then, opting for a healthier version of warm
cereal and milk in the mornings rather than caffeine and sweets
(speed).
Experiment with flavored extracts such as vanilla, rum and maple
in your morning coffee at home. You just may create your own
exotic brew for a fraction of the cost of your regular exotic.
