Scrounge out your kitchen or your parent’s kitchen for any of these items. Tying them in springs of ribbons then inserting miniature silk flowers can beautify ordinary serving pieces.
One of the most gorgeous punchbowl displays I have seen was a simple glass punchbowl that had been placed on an ‘upside-down’ ruby-red bowl. Between the red bowl and the punchbowl, someone had anchored a candle ring crated of roses and baby’s breath. It was a definite ‘gasp’ item of the ball!
Thrift stores usually have a plethora of punchbowls for under $10. Since you don’t need the cups, consider finding a beautiful crystal bowl.
